Oh the Desert

I am not the big sun worshipper, but for some reason when it is a vacation sort of a reason i can handle hot weather. I had never been to palm springs and the only thing i knew about it besides the vintage and old hollywood history was that is was parked in a desert.

this i the view from the room at 7 am

has place set up with drought resistant plants - maybe to parallel the cray amounts of private residences that have insane lawns

the drive is pretty, and flat (for most of it)

has a great little museum

has hotels that have a little humor

creative bootcamp- It begins

coming out of a corporate experience, i am definitely creatively tapped out. there are so many many pros and cons about working for a larger company especially if you are a creative type. a group of us chose this program to try restart and re-inspire

i had planned on doing this for ages and finally made the time

someone had told me that the it would be bout a 6 month project, i got really into it. I sort of saw it as a meditation practice- regardless i managed to finish it in about 4 weeks. {My thumbs will never be the same}
